Kira Hower — Executive Leadership Coach

Kira Hower is an Executive Leadership Coach and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with over 20 years of experience partnering with senior leaders navigating complex leadership challenges in dynamic organizational environments. After receiving her M.Ed. at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, she began her career as a consultant and curriculum designer at Linkage, Inc., where she designed and facilitated programs including Influencing for Impact and Risk Taking & Decision Making.

She was a presenter at a national leadership conference and a contributing author to the published anthology Enlightened Power. Kira subsequently became a Senior Partner and Executive Coach at Shambaugh Leadership Group in Washington, D.C., working with senior leaders across industries in both the U.S. and abroad. She has lived in Barcelona and Florence — bringing rare cross-cultural fluency to her practice.

Since 2014, Kira has served as an Executive Coach and Fellow at The Institute for Inclusive Leadership at Simmons University, delivering 360 reports, group coaching, and individual engagements from 3 to 12 months. She has also served as executive coach within Chief, the prestigious network for senior women executives.

Kira is also a certified practitioner of Hogan Assessments, a globally recognized, personality-based leadership tool used by 75% of Fortune 500 companies. Hogan provides a powerful, research-backed lens for understanding how leaders perform at their best, how they behave under pressure, and what core values drive their decisions. Kira integrates Hogan results into her coaching engagements to help clients build on their strengths, mitigate derailing tendencies, and lead with greater self-awareness and impact.

Kira is also the Co-Founder of Womanhood, an in-person somatic development program for women that integrates embodiment practices, peer connection, and guided inquiry across a 10-month journey — reflecting her commitment to building transformative communities, not just coaching individuals.

Kira incorporates somatic and embodied leadership practices into her work, drawing on her certification as a Black Belt in The Nia Technique — helping leaders develop heightened self-awareness, presence, and impact.
